Equivalent Fractions and Simplification

To make fractions equivalent to a given fraction, multiply or divide the numerator and the denominator by the same number

To convert a fraction to a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominator

Use the place value to write a terminating decimal as a fraction. Use the place value of the last digit to the right of the decimal point as the denominator of the fraction

To check for equivalence between a fraction and a decimal, convert any of the two into the other form and compare
