  • Figures that have the same shape but not necessarily the same size are similar. All congruent figures are similar. Similar figures may or may not be congruent

  • Line segments are congruent if they have the same length

  • Angles are congruent if they have the same degree measure

  • Circles are congruent if their diameters are the same length
