  • To multiply two numbers we can use the skip-count method. For example: to find 3 x 5, skip-count by fives 3 times

  • A known fact can also be used to multiply two numbers. For example: to find 6 x 4, 3 x 4 can be used as a known fact

  • All the multiples of 2 end in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8. These are even numbers

  • Numbers ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 are not multiples of 2. They are odd numbers
